I’m Diana Thomson and I’ve been teaching Pilates in Northampton since 2004.
My background was in teaching aerobics and Zumba but, since 2012, I’ve focussed exclusively on Pilates instruction.
My aim is to help you become fitter and healthier through a programme of exercises that are suitable for your body.
I’m fully qualified and insured. In addition, I’m committed to keeping my knowledge, skills and expertise up to date through training classes and workshops. Qualifications include:
- NVQ Level 2 Pilates (2004)
- NVQ Level 3 Pilates (2010)
- Diamond Pilates Instructor (2016)
- Intrinsic Bio Mechanics Certificate (2016)
- Current First Aid certificate
- Listed on Register of Exercise Professionals.
Most recently (2020) I’ve successfully completed the City and Guilds Safe Return to Work (COVID-19) course.
My classes are inclusive, fun and friendly. Everyone gets individual attention so that, unlike online-only instructors, or some drop-in gym classes, I get to know you properly and can ensure that exercises are tailored to your body and to your abilities.
